Now some of you say, "I'm not so fast. and that hill looks pretty big". Don't worry about it. get a partner, come out, and have some fun... you'll get a spoke card! the card doesn't say how you finish. It just says you put yourself out there. it's like those I Voted stickers. but less patriotic and more kick ass.

THE LOWDOWN:
You will have a teammate (so come up with a cool team name). Let's say, you race first.
the start will be at 4pm sharp.

2. ride to the first checkpoint, in the City Market, at the;
CUP AND SAUCER 412B Delaware Street, Kansas City, Missouri 64105
get your manifest signed by
3. Now Checkpoint 2. ride to the Plaza to the Franklin bench statue on the west end next to;
LATTE' LAND ESPRESSO, 4771 Jefferson St., Kansas City, MO 64112
4. head back to the start/finish line. when you get back hand off your manifest to your teammate and now they ride the course.
5. The first team to the finish wins.

For now let's say BYOB. I'm working on free beer but it doesn't look good.

then race to the city market.
then to the plaza. ding a beamer
and return to my place.
tag off to your team mate,
and they ride the lap.
it's a relay race!

trackstand, skid, and footdown competitions

if you don't have a teammate to race with. show up early. we'll put people together the day of the race.

we still need someone to sit and drink beer/coffee at a checkpoint.
